;_; I'm so frustrated. I have a project for ECE, you see. We have these pencil boxes in which there are lots of strange dohickies and I don't know what they all do. Then we have this pile of wires. We're supposed to strip the wires so that the wire is partly showing. Just getting the wire to strip was hard enough. I feel like I'm a Phys. Ed. major now instead of a CS major. It literally took me about an hour just to strip one part of one wire. Now, for the project, they expect you to cut the wire so that when you wire your box, it's all nice and neat. But I can't get these stupid wire strippers to cut anything for the life of me.

...

Okay, I just found out from Caleb that using the very tip of the wire strippers works to cut. I tried and he's right, it does. But there was nothing on the wire strippers, nor did I see anything in lab manual. I guess I'm just stupid and it was supposed to be obvious.

But the rest of this project? It's supposed to be oh so easy but it's not. Firstly, we're supposed to use chips. Now, I've got chips, but I got them in a extra "chip set" thingie (and the wire strippers came with it). Incidentally, the prof said that the chip set wasn't required to buy, especially if we already had our own wire strippers. Interesting. So how were we supposed to complete this project without chips??? Also, in the lab manual, it says we're supposed to have X Y and Z chips, and I don't have all those. One of the ones missing is one I need for the project.

Finally, I don't understand this breadboard at all. How do I get the chips to line up with ground, 5V, and all that???

*slumps*

I guess I'm just an idiot.
